Plutarque. Questions romaines - Αἴτια Ῥωμαϊκά: Introduction, text edité, traduction et commentaire critique: Brill's Plutarch Studies / Brill's Plutarch Text Editions, cartea 15
Autor John Scheid, Aurelio Pérez Jiménezfr Limba Franceză Hardback – 17 sep 2026
In this treatise, Plutarch examines fascinating aspects of the life and institutions of ancient Rome through anthropological and cultural perspectives. The Greek text, established on the basis of all the surviving manuscripts, is accompanied by a critical apparatus that corrects numerous errors from earlier editions, as well as by a very useful and comprehensive apparatus of loci paralleli. Furthermore, the enigmatic nature of these 113 questions without context is explained as representing a walk through the center of Rome, during which the monuments encountered give rise to questions.
