A spirited, dark novel set in the atmospheric world of Rock and Roll, Plus One tells the story of Angie Kappel, a catalog model from Auburn, California, who joins her boyfriend on his indie band's tour of Europe. Angie is the proverbial guitarist's girlfriend, the unwanted tag-along, and she is as unprepared for a low-budget rock tour as she is for the "Old World." As uninformed as she is beautiful, Angie cannot earn anyone's respect, especially not the roadie's - a young Spaniard named Margarita. Yet Angie is far from weak.
