Erika Boone knows her friends are wrapped up in something but no one will tell her what's going on. One friend is dead, another is missing and she can't afford to trust anyone.

As she embarks on this game of cat and mouse, Erika becomes entangled with Hayes Granger. A disgraced Navy SEAL, Hayes reignites a passion within her that she has long since buried, for the sake of protecting her heart.

After years of dating men she knew to be safe, before shutting herself off completely, the danger and excitement dripping off of Hayes destroys the defenses she's built. She soon realizes that she can't deny the fire between them, and she knows he's willing to stand between her and the dangers ahead.

With Hayes by her side and enemies watching from the shadows, the hunt begins.
