Notă biografică

Luigi Ficacci studierte in Rom Kunstgeschichte bei Giulio Carlo Argan. Er war lange Jahre Kurator am Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica in Rom sowie Generaldirektor der Museen in Bologna und in Lucca und lehrte an mehreren italienischen Universitäten. Bis 2021 war er Direktor des Zentralinstituts für Restaurierung in Rom. Schwerpunkte seiner Arbeit sind das 17. und 18. Jahrhundert sowie die zeitgenössische italienische und europäische Kunst.
