chmugglemeyer was a little boy who loved animals, especially unusual animals. He lived with his mother Mary, his father Sam, and his sister Rosalind near a big city. Schmugglemeyer wanted all animals, but especially the often mistreated, unusual ones, to have good, loving homes. If he could, he would take home any animal that needed him, but the unusual ones might give him a chance to encourage his family, friends and neighbors to appreciate them as he did.
