Notă biografică

Edward Demenchonok is a Professor of Foreign Languages and Philosophy at Fort Valley State University, USA. He is the president of the International Society for Universal Dialogue. His numerous books and articles are in the fields of the philosophy of culture, social philosophy, and ethics. His most recent publications include "From a State of War to Perpetual Peace," in The Challenges of Globalization: Rethinking Nature, Culture, and Freedom (2007), and "Intercultural Philosophy" in Philosophy of Culture(s) (2007). He is the editor of the book Between Global Violence and Ethics of Peace: Philosophical Perspectives (Wiley-Blackwell 2009).
