Notă biografică
Christopher Tuplin is Professor of Ancient History at the University of Liverpool. His publications include The Failings of Empire; Achaemenid Studies; Science and Mathematics in Ancient Greek Culture (co-editor with T.E. Rihll), Pontus and the Outside World (editor); Xenophon and his World (editor), and numerous research papers, chiefly on Xenophon, classical Greek history and the Achaemenid Persian Empire.
