Perform & Transform

Autor Aleksandra Hertelendi
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 24 sep 2026
'Perform & Transform is an engaging, practical guide to the under-appreciated human dimension at the heart of successful transformations.' - Scott D. Anthony, Clinical Professor of Strategy, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College
Transformation is no longer an occasional initiative - it's the day job. New technology, AI, shifting customer expectations and constant disruption are widening the gap between how organisations run today and what the future demands.
In Perform & Transform, transformation specialist Aleksandra Hertelendi offers a practical strategy book for business leaders who need results without burning out their people. Built for real-world complexity (where the "masterplan" breaks), this book sets out an actionable framework that sticks.
Each chapter turns insight into practice with clear tools, "tiny experiments", reflection prompts and decision frameworks you can use immediately.
Perform & Transform shows how to:
- distinguish change from true transformation
- build team momentum under pressure
- craft narratives that generate commitment, not compliance
- design systems that reinforce new behaviours
- run strategy as a compass
- simplify using a new lens
Learn how to "perform and transform" - delivering today's KPIs while building tomorrow's capabilities. This is a practical and inspiring guide for CEOs, founders, transformation directors and senior leaders to organisational transformation, digital transformation and culture change in the age of AI - practically, humanely and at speed, for every industry.

Notă biografică

Aleksandra Hertelendi is a transformation strategist and advisor based in London guiding leaders and organisations through high-stakes transformation. She has supported senior executives in FTSE 500 organisations across industries, including telecoms, media, fintech, and public infrastructure, on programmes such as mergers and acquisitions, leadership restructuring, cultural reinvention, and systemic reordering. Her perspective is rooted not only in professional expertise but also in lived experience. Having grown up during the fall of communism in Central Europe, and later navigating migration and career changes, she understands first-hand what it means to adapt and reinvent in times of uncertainty. These experiences give her a sharp eye for what holds organisations back and a conviction that transformation can be led differently - with more clarity, momentum, and humanity. In recent years, she has built her own consulting practice, working directly with organisations and collaborating with major consultancies, which has connected her with leading academic thinkers from Harvard, Dartmouth, Oxford Said, London Business School and practitioners in the field. Alongside her client work, she has built a thought leadership platform, with a following on LinkedIn and a weekly newsletter.
