PEN International

Carles Torner was PEN International Executive Director from 2014 to 2020 and is currently the director of the PEN Centenary. He has also participated in several missions for imprisoned writers. Jan Martens is a Belgian publisher and co-founder, with Bato Tomasevic, of the Motovun Group of International Publishers. Ginevra Avalle is a qualified archivist and researcher working in the promotion of private collections. Jennifer Clement is the President of PEN International and the first woman to be elected since the organization was founded in 1921. Peter D. McDonald is Professor of English and Related Literature at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of St Hugh's College. Rachel Potter is Professor of Modern Literature at the University of East Anglia. Laetitia Zecchini is a research fellow at the CNRS (Paris).
