This is a story of a female wounded warrior from the Gulf War with a traumatic brain injury and terminal breast cancer. As part of recovery she found a peaceful journey through a friendship with a horse. Thanks to the non-profit public charity, Sanctuary Island Inc., her experience was supported and funded. The outcome resulted in her having a heartwarming experience.
