This is the first catalogue raisonné of Patrick Heron’s oeuvre. Of the 1038 works catalogued, c.1050 of the paintings are reproduced in full colour, including new photography taken for the publication. In due course, this book will be followed by a multi‑volume publication on Heron’s gouaches.
The book is supported by the Patrick Heron Trust and distributed for Art Publishing Inc.

Notă biografică

Dr Andrew Wilson wrote his PhD on Patrick Heron and knew the artist. He curated the 2018 exhibition at Tate St Ives, which travelled to the Turner, Margate. Andrew was curator of C20th British art at Tate for many years and is now an independent art historian and curator.
Mary Bustin is freelance paintings conservator and has worked on Heron's oils for many years. She was a conservator at Tate.
Dr Robert Sutton is an independent art historian. He has worked closely with Andrew Wilson throughout the project and done much of the research.
