Palms and Pomegranates, set in a fictional Mediterranean country, is an intimate portrait of a privileged family caught up in life-altering times, as their country is increasingly oppressed by radical forces. Perin, Western-educated and comfortably living abroad, feels the need to return home because of her deep ties to family, tradition and culture. ¿ Unexpected events force her to struggle between her family's concerns and her desire to fight suppression, evolving into immeasurable dangers for her loved ones.
