Notă biografică
David Zeltserman has over the years worked developing data communication software at some of the world's leading networking and computer companies, including Motorola, DEC, Nokia, Lucent and Cisco. He lives in the Boston area with his wife Judy, is a die-hard Patriots and Red Sox fan and when he's not writing crime fiction, he spends his time working on his black belt in Kung Fu. His previous novels, Small Crimes (9781852429713), Pariah (9781846686436) and Killer (9781846686443) are also published by Serpent's Tail.
Recenzii
a dryly witty take on the heist caper genre... a fast-paced action romp that has the inestimable advantage... that its characters are actually human
Zeltserman creates an intense atmospheric maze for readers to observe Denton's twisting and turning between his rocks and hard places. Denton is one of the best-realised characters I have read in this genre, and the powerfully noir-ish, uncompromising plot, which truly keeps one guessing from page to page, culminates with a genuinely astonishing finale
Zeltserman is the author of increasingly accomplished crime novels, distinguished by spare and crisp prose, believable dialogue, imaginative plot twists and tightly wound characters who don't wear out their welcome
Dave Zeltserman is one of the new, highly original voices in crime fiction, his writing spare, disciplined and concrete. His plots are as original as anyone writing hard-boiled fiction with an attractive noir edge, and always grimly entertaining
A small gem of crime fiction
A riveting thriller all too topical in todays job market, Outsourced is a read that shouldn't be overlooked for thriller readers.
A dark, lightning-paced read
Bodies mount up as the double dealing and revenge gather apace. The blurb on the book describes it as a "fast-paced, edge-of-your seat crime novel," and it really does live up to the hype. Add this to your holiday reading list for a piece of escapism
You can outsource software engineering, but so far at least you can't outsource crime writing as good as Zeltserman's.
