Opening the Wealth Gates
Autor Cheick Boucadry Traoreen Limba Engleză Hardback – 23 feb 2027
In Opening the Wealth Gates, Cheick Boucadry Traore explores a central challenge of African prosperity: enabling ordinary people to gain access to the capital, property, skills, and institutions they need to build secure and productive lives.
At the heart of the book is the Human Person-the young woman seeking decent work, the entrepreneur with a promising project but no collateral, the farmer working to improve a livelihood, and the family hoping to acquire a lasting asset. Their opportunities provide a practical test of economic progress.
Moving from barriers to action, Traore examines secure property rights, business finance, employee and community ownership, domestic savings, and digital financial participation. He connects these opportunities to education, agriculture, energy, competitive industries, accountable institutions, and African regional cooperation.
The book proposes a practical roadmap for widening participation in wealth creation and asks how progress should be measured: through productive employment, growing enterprises, broader ownership, and opportunities that endure across generations.
Written for citizens, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and members of the African diaspora, Opening the Wealth Gates offers a human-centered vision of development in which more people can create value, build assets, and shape their economic future.
