Set in current day England in a small seaside town, a naked, bound, female body is washed up on the beach. At first it is assumed it is a bizarre suicide but the CSI assigned to the case knows something is wrong with this theory. He needs to battle against inept colleagues and his personal demons whilst drawing on his considerable knowledge of the many ways to die if he is ever going to correctly piece together the jigsaw leading up to her death
