Two Missing Women. One Guilty Man.
Tim is woken by police pounding on the front door. He’s in the apartment of the girl he’s been seeing, Imogen. But she has vanished – and there’s evidence of a violent altercation he can’t explain. When the police find Imogen's discarded phone and keys and tell Tim the flat belongs to someone else, he quickly becomes prime suspect in a crime he claims to know nothing about.
DI Gina Sherry’s investigation reveals an ever-darkening web of mystery and while Tim maintains Imogen was being stalked, all the evidence points to him being the perpetrator.
Tim’s only hope of finding the truth is Themis, an underground crusader for justice who works beyond the bounds of law. But when DI Sherry discovers Tim’s wife tragically drowned at sea years ago, making Imogen the second woman in his life to go missing, Tim is forced to confront the darkness in his past.
In this deadly game of cat and mouse, where everyone is caught in a labyrinth of lies, will Themis or DI Sherry find the truth …before more lives are lost?
A read-in-one-sitting, addictive and twisty thriller that fans of T.M. Logan and Harlan Coben will love.
