When Joe's friend Sam, injures his leg in a football game, and comes to Joe's father to fix his pants to cover the cast on his ankle. Joe's father makes the comment that Sam needs a new pair of pants for the interview. Sam has set all the rushing records and is to be interviewed for a scholarship. But with the tough times since the plant closed, buying a new pair of pants is impossible.... Joe bets Sam, he can make a pair of pants for the interview. But, a girl in his class hears of it, and telling Amber is like announcing it to the whole school. Life for Joe is fast becoming a disaster. To overcome all the peer pressure and being the laughing stock of the school, he must find a way to make a pair of pants for Sam.
