Once A Scout, Always a Scout is a collection of stories, all based in real events, of how a boy and later an adult, uses the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan in daily life. Sometimes the use of the Scouting principles results in something funny happening; sometimes it guides the Scout into making the right choice. Always, the Scouting principles serve as a flashlight to help light the trail. And sometimes, the batteries give out, just at the wrong time.
