Corporal Jake Briggs completes his tour of Iraq, and is now stationed at Camp Pendleton. He decides to head for Los Angeles on a two-week leave. While there he becomes swept up in Hollywood society and the controversy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" of the military.
