Jimmy's from a rich Hong Kong family and is having an affair with Rebecca, a pro-democracy protestor. She disappears and Jimmy goes to ground, so ex-pat reporter Adrian Gyle investigates. Pursuing Rebecca's ghost to Java Road where the city's dead congregate, he re-assembles her final hours, struggling to distinguish between delusion and reality.
