How does an ordinary Joe become a killer for hire? William Rose, a troubled but otherwise ordinary and unassuming man, has made an unusual career choice; he's a contract killer. His best-and only friend, is a stringy ten-year-old neighborhood boy named Billy. Billy's turbulent home life frequently sends him looking to Will as a role model.
