Sedna arrives on Nyyrikki's planet by means of celestial impact. They soon are struck by an ancient love for each other, indeed forged ages ago. An underground enemy, however, has driven a divide into both of their souls. Nyyrikki, above all, must overcome the nightmares that Spikarsika has caused him his entire life. He is also plagued by a churning refusal to believe in the Star Mother, a Goddess whose temples, name, and even story have been removed from modern history.
