In the first letter, the scientific and socio-political rationalizations used to stymie nuclear power and desalination development are examined and debunked. Th e second letter includes a careful examination of the oldest story known to humanity and, here, Dr Atkinson provides further, satisfying, metaphorical insights resulting in the idea of humanity committing to replanting the forests of the world to arrest and halt "climate change."
