A gripping suspense thriller set against the vibrant yet dangerous backdrop of Brazil. What was meant to be the holiday of a lifetime in Rio de Janeiro turns into a desperate fight for survival for George and Maggie. They never imagined their dream vacation would pit them against an international gang of ruthless criminals. Before leaving the U.K., George was secretly approached by MI5, the British Secret Service, and asked to deliver a mysterious package to Brazil. He kept the mission from his wife - unaware that the package was also being hunted by a powerful criminal network. When Maggie is kidnapped by the gang and used as leverage for the package, she makes a daring escape with George's help. Their nightmare deepens as they are relentlessly pursued across Brazil, culminating in a deadly confrontation at the majestic Iguassu Falls, where one gang member meets a gruesome end. On the run and terrified, the couple flee back to Rio, only to be ambushed in a dangerous favela. George is wounded, and their last hope lies with MI5 - but the truth they uncover is more shocking than anything they could have imagined. They were unwitting mules, deceived by the very agency that recruited them. Now, caught between MI5's hidden agenda and a vengeful criminal syndicate, George and Maggie must decide who they can trust - and how far they'll go to survive when there's nowhere else to run.
