Notice of Assignment

Chris Lengquist spent nine years as a private investigator and process server in the Washington, DC, area, beginning in 1986 as a twenty-one-year-old investigative neophyte. He was a quick study, learning to hear what people didn't say and photograph what people didn't want seen. In 1995 he began to transition to six-year career in photography, putting what he learned about a camera as an investigator to better use: stop-action sports photography as well as capturing the smiles of families who still enjoyed each other. After a quick stop in Oklahoma in 2001, and picking up his real estate license, Chris returned to the Kansas City area in 2004. There, he built a career in real estate. It wasn't long until most of his business was centered around working with real estate investors. Over his twenty-five years of working with real estate investments, Chris found his skills as an investigator being put to use: research, background checks, listening. He also discovered how contracts and pens could create riches for one person, and misery for another. The Cal Brink Files are where Chris' reality meets his imagination.
