Father Jon Mark, after suffering a shattered thigh bone, becomes a chaplain in the hospital during his extended recovery. A young woman with both legs damaged in an auto accident, an elderly nun who wants to go 'home' to die, and a world famous tenor team together to raise funds for the hospital in spite of their individual illnesses.
