Born in Jamaica and raised in Atlanta, Ann Michelle Harris writes romantic suspense and fantasy/speculative fiction with diverse characters and positive social justice themes. Ann is a lawyer by day and a writer by night with a B.A. in English from Penn and a J.D. from Emory. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Atlanta Writers Club, and is the current vice president of Georgia Romance Writers. She loves sci-fi, anime, shopping, yoga, and vacations at the beach, preferably in Jamaica or Hawaii. She is a Maggie Award finalist, a double finalist in the national Pages From the Heart contest, and she was a finalist for the 2023 Eleanor Taylor Bland Award from Sisters in Crime. Read her atmospheric short story " Changeling" in the grifter crime anthology Hook, Line and Sinker, from the Guppy Chapter of Sisters in Crime. Look for her YA fantasy novel North coming in early 2025 from Running Wild Press. In addition to fiction, she also writes film and tv reviews for the Hugo and IGNYTE award winning website, Nerds of a Feather.
