Isabella Girardi just woke up with a killer headache, more payback than she expected from last night's party. Then again, she doesn't remember being struck by lightning, which may explain why she's dealing with a more than normally obnoxious hangover.

A day later, the dark-haired beauty meets her new coworker-a hunky blue-eyed god of a man with red-blond hair and muscles that ripple beneath his well-tailored business suit. She's not happy her boss went over her head to hire Galvin Haldor, but she's willing to admit he's easy on the eyes.

Something's odd about Galvin, however. In all other ways he's the perfect man, but he insists with complete sincerity his father is Thor, the Nordic god of thunder.

Then again, Isabella can't deny the weather's been weird since Galvin showed up, almost as if an angry god wanted to prevent his son from hooking up with a mere mortal. But surely that's just coincidence, right?
