Helen, a self-doubting Yorkshire woman meets a celebrated, married musician on the Eurostar, while travelling to Paris. Their liaison leads to excitement, mystery and menace, as through her profession, Helen also encounters the beautiful, vindictive woman who, many years before, destroyed her young life.
