* Elderly while in a nursing homes should have color to room, bedspreads with design to match their curtains. * Elderly should be able to celebrate main holidays on the same day, just like they would in their own home before entering nursing home. * Elderly should be able to stay in bed when they prefer, not up to nursing to say when. * More nurses should help out when needed. * My book should be brought, it gives some information to help others. It is a story of what happen to this one certified nurses aide and how elderly should not be treated. More awareness needs to be open to others. More staffing should be looked at. One person should not have to care for eight elderly in a eight hour shift, knowing we need our breaks. We also obtain burn-outs due to over worked. My book age range are for those who are over 30, 40, 50. I pick this group so when it comes to their love ones, they are able to pick a home that would make the elderly more at home and comfortable. They would over see that their loved one is taking care of by visiting more often even if they have Alzheimer's Disease. They make sure that their love one is being taking care of and they are only a phone call away.
