War changes people. When Nishfar Montiz, a studious scholar, has his life turned upside down by the outbreak of war, he decides he must do everything in his power to get his daughter off planet. Despite his fears, and against the recommendation of his in-laws, he heads to the frontline hoping to find his brother and a way off Hakon IV.
