Vicky Bliss is working under cover on a Nile cruise ship, following a tip off about an intended theft of Egyptian antiquities. Her prime suspect is her occasional lover and frequent adversary , Sir John Smythe, and her suspicions seem to be confirmed by Sir John's presence on board. However, one of the crew is brutally murdered and Vicky and Sir John have to work together to find the murderer.
