Notă biografică

The Authors: Mike Farrell spent twenty years working as a reporter, city editor, and managing editor of The Kentucky Post before becoming an associate professor in the School of Journalism and Telecommunications at the University of Kentucky. He teaches reporting, editing, media law, journalism ethics, and journalism history, and is the director of the Scripps Howard First Amendment Center. His bachelor's degree is from Moody Bible Institute; his master's and doctorate were earned at the University of Kentucky. Mary Carmen Cupito worked as a freelancer, a public relations professional, and eventually a journalism teacher, first at Ohio State University and then at her current position as associate professor in Northern Kentucky University's College of Informatics. She has co-written one other book, The Writer's Market Companion, with Joe Feiertag and the editors of Writer's Market. She earned a bachelor's degree at Rutgers College and a master's at New York University. She teaches courses in newswriting, editing, design and layout, and ethics.
