Notă biografică

Jessie Poesch is a professor of art history at Newcomb College, Tulane University. Her articles have appeared in Antiques magazine, Art Bulletin, and Country Life, among other magazines. She has published studies on Titian Ramsay Peale, early Louisiana furniture, and the art of the Old South. She was one of the curators for the exhibition, "Painting in the South," sponsored by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
