Amanda and Paul are camping with their parents near a beautiful valley. They discover a ravine and a shallow cave, their parents encourage them to explore as they spend a relaxing afternoon together. The children soon find themselves transported to a strange new land where they are forced to serve a quirky scientist as he works towards unknown goals. He sends them into a dangerous world of fire and hellish creatures where they must obtain ingredients for his experiments. Amanda must work with her brother and keep him safe as they struggle to survive and escape back home.
