Notă biografică

Mushtaq A. Beigh is currently serving as a Senior Assistant professor in the Department of Nanotechnology at the University of Kashmir, India. Previously, Dr. Beigh held multiple postdoctoral fellowships like young scientist fellow (SERB) and DBT-Research Associate for carrying out research on mTOR cell signalling. He completed his PhD in Growth factor signalling laboratory at the Department of Biotechnology, University of Kashmir, India. Presently, he leads the Cellular Signaling and Nanotherapeutics laboratory at the University of Kashmir. His team is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer metastasis and developing nanomaterial-based drug conjugates for targeted cancer therapies. Dr. Beigh has numerous international and national publications to his credit.
Shafquat Majeed currently holds the position of Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Nanotechnology at the University of Kashmir, India. He earned his master’s degree in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kashmir and completed his PhD at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His postdoctoral research, conducted at the Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering, IISc Bangalore, from 2015 to 2016, focused on rare-earth-based nanomaterials for biomedical applications and the fabrication of perovskite-based solar cells. Presently, Dr. Majeed leads the Multifunctional Nanomaterials Laboratory at the University of Kashmir. His research group specializes in the synthesis, characterization, and investigation of the optical, magnetic and catalytic properties of nanomaterials and MOFs prepared through various solution-based routes.
