Burhan Hamid, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Department of Microbiology, Centre of Research for Development (CORD), University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India since 2019. He has 12 years of teaching and research experience. He has worked as researcher in Regional Research Station (RRS) for biofertilizers at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), India. His area of interest in teaching and research are environmental microbiology, psychrophiles, cold-active enzymes, agricultural microbiology, food and industrial microbiology. Dr. Hamid is a reviewer for various national and international journals and has published more than 57 research papers, review papers and book chapters with reputed publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, MDPI, Taylor & Francis. Moreover, he has worked as Senior Microbiologist in ISO/IEC-17025 accredited laboratory at Baddi, India. He is also supervising M.Sc. Microbiology students in their dissertation and project works.
Parvaze Ahmad Wani, PhD, is working as faculty at Department of Microbiology, Centre of Research for Development (CORD), University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India since 2022. Previously he worked as an Associate Professor of Microbiology at Department of Biological Sciences, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria from 2014 to 2022. He also worked as Assistant Professor of Microbiology from December, 2009 to October, 2014. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experience at UG and PG level. He worked as post-doctoral fellow in the department of environmental sciences, Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar (Central University), Lucknow and IARA, New Delhi from September 2008 to November, 2009. His research is focused on the bioremediation of pollutants such as hydrocarbons, metals etc. He also works on the Antimicrobial, ant diabetic activity of medicinal plants. He has published more than 70 research and review articles in reputed journals of Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor and Francis. He is member of many associations and also reviewer of many reputed journals.
Shrikaant Kulkarni, Ph.D., works as an Adjunct Professor, at the Faculty of Business, Victorian Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, and Adjunct Professor at Chitkara University, Punjab, India. Dr. Kulkarni has been a senior academician and researcher for 42 years. He has delivered invited lectures and conducted sessions at national and international conferences and faculty development programs. He has guided many major and minor projects in areas like engineering chemistry, green chemistry, nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, catalysis, chemical engineering materials, industrial organization, and management, Advanced AI, and Educational Technology. He has published over 100+ research papers in national and international journals and conferences of repute. He has edited 30+ books, including four in Advanced AI, and authored 75+ book chapters in books published by CRC, Springer Nature, Apple Academic Press, Elsevier, Wiley, and IET. He authored four textbooks in engineering chemistry too. Dr Kulkarni possesses MSc, MPhil, and PhD degrees in Chemistry and Master’s degrees in Economics, Business Management, and Political Science. Two of his Patents have been published and two more are applied for grant. He was invited by UNESCO for an invited talk on “ Green Chemistry Education for Sustainable Development “ at the International Conference on Green Chemistry, Bangkok, and was well received by international Jury members and dignitaries from across the world.
