Mikar is a traveling ship mechanic for the Universal Federation. When his control panel malfunctions, he is forced to make an emergency landing on Planet A-0987, a barren desert planet that should be quiet. After weeks of scavenging for resources to repair his ship, two pods crash from the sky. The creatures inside he has never seen before, and the pretty one with dark hair and fair skin is terrified of him.
Two species are brought together despite all odds, and soon they both realize they might have been drawn to Planet Inferno for a reason greater than just survival.
