Larakea was going into the family business and learning the ropes of working on a cargo starship. It was her bad luck that it was supposed to be on planet Munoraku's orbital Trade station. Now kidnapped because of her looks to serve as a pawn in a dangerous game for religious control of an entire planet, Larakea is trying to find a way back home. Without the help from her home government and with the religious order of Xuzaiuas on her trail, Larakea meets some new people on her way to the Temple of Gateways - her only way out.
