She received Ph.D. (Nanotechnology) from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2020 in the area of Micro/Nanorobots for Therapeutics. She received the Best PhD Thesis Award for the year 2021 and won a Gold Medal in her master's in biotechnology. She has been a DST INSPIRE Fellow. She holds 2 patents and her research work has been featured in NATURE INDIA and INDIA BIOSCIENCES. She, along with her team, bagged SITARE-GYTI (Gandhian Young Technological Innovation) Appreciation 2021 for the work 'Microfluidic Immunosensor for Point-of-Care-Testing of Beta-2-Microglobulinin Tear', and National Level Women Scientist Award 204 conferred by Microbiologists Society, India.
Dr. Yugal Kishore Mohanta is now working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Biology, School of Biological Sciences, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), India. Earlier to this, he was working as a visiting researcher at the Biotechnology and Omics Laboratory, Natural and Medical Sciences Research Centre, University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman. His current research interest is in metal/composite nanoparticles and their potential for food and biomedical applications. He completed his Ph.D. in life sciences from North Orissa University; Baripada in 2019. He has also successfully completed the BCIL industrial training programme on plant tissue culture sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi. Among other academic/research achievements, he was awarded as a visiting research scholar at the Department of Biology, KU Leuven, Belgium. He has more than 4 years of post-Ph.D. research experience on natural products chemistry and Nanobiotechnology.
Dr. Manika Khanuja is a Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia and a world-renowned scientist in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Her research integrates advanced materials science with AI/ML to carry strategic implification of materials for energy and environmental challenges. Her academic pedigree includes a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from IIT Delhi and a B.Sc. (H) from Miranda House. As an academic administrator and mentor, she has supervised 10 Ph.D. scholars and served as an external examiner for 8 doctoral theses across India. She is actively involved in the strategic development of research ecosystems that bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and societal impact.
Dr. Ramesh Namdeo Pudake is an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Pudake is a Ph.D. in crop genetics and breeding from China Agricultural University, Beijing, PRC. After his Ph.D., he is engaged in research with a focus on plant biotechnology and nanotechnology.
