Mortimer is a satirical comic strip that examines life in our fast-food and pop-culture dominated consumer society. The humor is poignant, relevant, and timeless; here zany antics, funny faces, and exaggerated action are replaced by smart dialogue and witty, satirical, social and political commentary.

With minimal use of backgrounds, the "action" predominantly centers around dialogue between the two primary characters- Sara and Mortimer. Recurring themes, elements, and cliches are regularly employed as well as tributes to pop culture elements and the old school newspaper comic strip.
