Notă biografică
Dr. Nagendra Singh Chauhan obtained his M. Pharm, Ph.D from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar in 2006 and 2011. He is currently working as a Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II and Government Analyst at the Drugs Testing Laboratory AvamAnusandhan Kendra, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He has professional expertise in natural product isolation and phytopharmacology. He has written more than 75 articles published in national and international journals, 32 book chapters and edited five books. He has citations of more than 3000 with h-index 42 and i10 index of 38 (Google scholar) and Scopus h-index 15; 669 citations.
Durgesh Nandini Chauhan, MPharm, has several years of academic (teaching) experience at institutes in India in pharmaceutical sciences working in Columbia College of Pharmacy , Raipur CG India. She taught subjects as pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, traditional concepts of medicinal plants, drug delivery, phytochemistry, cosmetic technology, pharmaceutical engineering, pharmaceutical packaging, quality assurance, dosage form designing, and anatomy and physiology. She is member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, SILAE: Società Italo-Latinoamericana di Etnomedicina (The Scientific Network on Ethnomedicine, Italy), and others. She has attended several workshops, conferences, and symposiums, including the AICTE-Sponsored Staff Development Program on “Effects of Teaching and Learning Skills in Pharmacy: Tool for Improvement of Young Pharmacy Teachers.” She has written more than ten articles published in national and international journals, 15 book chapters, and editors in 10 books. She is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals and an active participant at national and international conferences, including BhartiyaVigyanSammelan and the International Convention of Society of Pharmacognosy. Presently she joined Ishita Research Organization, Raipur, India as a freelance writer and guide for students in pharmacy, Ayurvedic, and science in their research projects. She would be interested in data analysis, proposal writing, questionnaire design, designing and developing research questionnaires and policy. He has written more than 90 articles published in national and international journals, 20 book chapters and 05 edited books. His SCOPUS h index is 17, with 905 citations.
Prof. Umesh K. Patil has completed his B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph.D. from Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar and Post-doctoral studies from Institute of Biology, Leiden University, The Netherlands. Presently he is working as Professor of Pharmacognosy and serving as General Secretary to Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (ISP). He has also been serving as Board Member & Vice President of International Council for Medicinal Plant Research (ICMAP) and Regional Representative of ICMAP for SAARC countries. His area of specialization is Herbal Drug Technology and Natural Products. He has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and research. He is recipient of 7 prestigious awards given in the field of HMPs and remained BOYSCAST fellow of DST, Govt of India. He is a member of many professional bodies including International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), International Society of Ethnopharmacology (ISE), International Society for Medicinal Plant Research (GA), Germany, International Pharmaceutical Students Federation, International Society of Natural Product Development, APTI, IPA, IPGA, ISTE, IASTAM, and IAHP.
