Notă biografică
Richard Moon is a silver jeweller based at The Makers Shed, an artisanal open studio, gallery and bookshop in Deepwater, NSW. Trained as a cook in the Royal Australian Air Force, he served as personal chef to Australia's Air Commander before working as chef and sous chef at some of the most iconic and acclaimed cafes and restaurants in the greater Blue Mountains region. These included The Red Door Cafe Leura, and Collits Inn Hartley Vale. A former sous chef/trainer at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, he holds an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality. These days, he creates original sterling-silver jewellery, hosts jewellery workshops and occasionally cooks, mostly small-batch jams and preserves created from foraged ingredients for The Makers Shed.
