Monaro details the lives of an Australian family from the late Victorian era to the near present. The story follows this family through the Great Depression, Two World Wars, the Korean Conflict and finally the Vietnam War. Monaro was written by the late Alyn Marland and is now presented by the author's daughter and her husband, Major and Mrs Shawn Carr.
