Take Hollyn MacKenzie, accomplished vet and animal rescuer. Cat, dog, bunny, ferret-she speaks their language. Men? Not so much. But that's okay. She's happily living life according to her own recipe. Add Ted Ambrose, a dedicated paramedic whose goofball exterior is armor for a past seasoned with loss. He knows love, like peppermint ice cream, is sweetest when shared. But there's no one waiting for him under the mistletoe...or is there? Can these two loners frost over the cracks in each other's hearts with holiday cheer? Sprinkle liberally with sweet holiday events. Infuse with found family and season with new beginnings. Serve on a Christmas cookie platter garnished with cute fluffy kittens-and don't forget the mistletoe!
