Minefields is a collection of lyric poetry dealing with humans' strongest emotions. Reading the book feels like being on a wild rollercoaster, as it plays with emotions you are not sure even exist. The emotions feel elusive and distant as they flee from you. They slip away, and no matter what you do, you cannot catch them and place them back in your mind. Nothing seems real. Not even you. And the only authentic beauty of your entire life lives within the lines of your heart's poems. But right in there, inside the echoing chaos, there hides a certain comfort, a dangerous happiness. The collection explores the psychological landscapes of adolescence. The "minefields" in the title is a metaphor for moments and emotions that are deep, delicate, and powerful. This book will be a companion to those who feel too much, question too deeply, or love too hard. The collection offers, as described by the author, "an abstract tissue to wipe the tears of the soul's broken heart." And could heal, even slightly, the unhealed wounds we all carry.
