Mind Over Heart is a practical and inspiring guide to inner strength, emotional balance, and spiritual purpose, rooted in the timeless wisdom of Chassidic philosophy.
Drawing on the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the Tanya, Torah, and Jewish mystical tradition, Rabbi Shlomo Ezagui explores one of life's most transformative principles: moach shalit al halev-the mind's ability to guide the heart. Through clear, accessible reflections, he shows how thought, speech, and action shape character, influence emotions, and help determine the direction of a person's life.
Readers will discover how to redirect negative thoughts, face anxiety with faith, transform despair into purposeful action, cultivate lasting joy, and develop trust in God amid uncertainty. The book examines the ongoing tension between the higher, Godly soul and the instinctive, self-centered drives of the body, offering spiritual tools for overcoming distraction, fear, destructive habits, and emotional turmoil.
With chapters on mindfulness, positive thinking, gratitude, prayer, free will, resilience, Divine Providence, and the unique mission of every individual, Mind Over Heart invites readers to make their minds a source of clarity and their lives a dwelling place for holiness.
This is not merely a book of inspiration. It is a call to action: to choose better thoughts, speak with greater purpose, act with compassion, and discover the strength, peace, and joy that emerge when the mind leads the heart.
Ideal for readers of Jewish spirituality, Chabad Chassidus, Kabbalah, personal growth, faith-based psychology, and practical Torah wisdom
