The studies of the present volume offer cultural and narratological analysis of contemporary German-language fiction by women authors of Hungarian origin, like the Chamisso Prize winners Terezia Mora, Zsuzsa Bank, Ilma Rakusa and Zsuzsanna Gahse. The volume also intends to provide an overview of theoretical approaches to the connection between literature, migration and German memory cultures, with special emphasis on the so called "eastern turn" in German literature.
