Notă biografică
Robert A. Pastor is currently Professor of Political Science at Emory University and Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Program at the Carter Center. He is on leave of absence in 1985-86 as a Fulbright Professor at El Colegio de Mexico. He directed a two-year research project on Migration and Development in the Caribbean at the School of Public Affairs of the University of Maryland at College Park
Descriere
This book explores the relationship between migration and economic development in the Caribbean area and the connection between the following two phenomena: the impact of development on migration and of migration on development. It evaluates mechanisms that can use migration to enhance development.
