I used to love Twilight... when I was 13. Now, in my 20s, I can't possibly feel the same way about it, although this book is a lot more mature and fitting for all those who fell in love with the series as teenagers and reading it as adults. I won't give this book a detailed review, because only those who really loved Twilight will read this book, regardless of reviews, of that I'm pretty sure. What's really important, in my perspective, is that the writing is a lot better in this book (I haven't reread the other books for some years, however I can guarantee that), though a bit too slow here and there. It's bearable, especially if you're curious about what was left out of the first book, like details about the Cullens, their history, their actions when Bella wasn't around, conversations between Bella and Edward and a different perspective on their relationship. If you can get past the fact that he's a creepy stalker, completely obsessed with "just an ordinary human girl", as he describes her when he sees her face in people's thoughts on the first day of school, you might actually like it. What I didn't like about it is how some characters are portrayed. Every human except for Bella's parents (and sometimes even them) is completely awful. Well, I suppose if you look through the eyes of a superhuman that's actually likely, but really now, no qualities whatsoever? It's so easy to hate on everyone in this book except the "good, delicate, vulnerable etc." Bella and the strong, beautiful vampires. It's also annoying how Bella's only flaw is "being too kind and selfless". I really expected her to be a lot more human in this book, since one of its purposes was to make her look less bland and give us some insight on why Edward picked her. It doesn't. 13-year-old me would've been so excited about this book, if I would've been able to understand it back then, which I highly doubt. It was nice to revisit a teenage crush, but I believe that some things, once buried, are meant to stay that way. We all got over our Twilight obsession and so should Stephenie.

În general sunt mulțumita de serviciile acordate. Transportul foarte lent a durat c am o luna sa mi ajunga cartea. In schimb preț bun și calitate superioara!

Mesmerising. I could not go as far as saying I was in loved with the first series, however the vampire myth coming along with it was surprising. This new book is more mature and the pages are just turning and turning and you find yourself past half of the book, still turning them and not wanting to end. Wanting more! Wanting to see the story from this point of view until the end. Hoping that there will be a second and a third book from this pasionate point of view.
